Abstract

We will talk about recent results on the Julia sets and Baker wandering domains of holomorphic maps with certain symmetries, with applications to many typical holomorphic systems.  This is a joint work with Chunlei Cao.

About the speaker

Yuefei Wang has been a Professor at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Distinguished Professor at Shenzhen University.  He was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and selected into the inaugural class for the “New Century Talents Project”as well as the “Hundred Talents Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, among other honors.  He has served as Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Deputy President of the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and as Honorary Dean of the College of Mathematics and Statistics of Shenzhen University.  He has been on the editorial boards of more than ten academic journals, including Math. Nachrichten, Science China, and Acta Mathematica Sinica.
