Dr. Zhen Zhang is now an associate Professor at Department of Mathematics, Southern University of Science and Technology, China. He is P.I. and National Youth Talent. His research interests include numerical PDEs and high-dimensional data analysis. He received the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013, and the B.S. degree in Mathematics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2007. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Mathematics in National University of Singapore from 2013 to 2015.

• Multiphase moving contact line problems of complex fluids, multiscale modeling and simulation
• Phase-field modeling and simulations
